About Us
A Pokhara mill, a Bardiya field, and a habit of saying plainly what we mean.
Who We Are
Annapurna Agro Rice Mill stands at Malepatan-5, Pokhara, Nepal. It began as a small operation serving the households and shops of the neighbourhood, and it has grown the slow way — one honest sack at a time. Today we mill rice grown on our own farmland in Bardiya, and paddy bought directly from farming families in the villages around Bardiya and Pokhara.
We are not a trading company that never touches grain. We stand at the intake, we test the moisture, we run the polisher, and we watch the sacks go out. If something is not right, the person responsible is standing right here.
Our Mission
On Business Clarity
Three words we hold ourselves to. Clear grades. Clear weights. Clear rates. A farmer should know what he is being paid before he unloads, and a buyer should know what she is receiving before she pays. That is the whole of it.
Where We Come From
Two landscapes feed this mill. In the Bardiya plains of the far west, our own fields and those of long-standing partner farmers grow the fine and aromatic varieties that the flat, warm terai does best. Closer to home, the terraces around Pokhara in Gandaki give us the everyday rice that Nepali kitchens run on.

Our Values
Purity
Grain that leaves our mill is sorted, stone-free and unblended. What is on the label is what is in the sack.
Transparency
Rates quoted openly, weights taken in front of you, and a receipt for every transaction, however small.
Community
We buy from neighbours, pay on the day, and keep our work inside the villages that grow for us.
The People at the Mill
Small team, long service. You will speak to one of these people whenever you call.
“We don’t just mill rice — we mill trust.”
